Our People
About Us
Mi'djam Woman is led by Natalie Lewis (Muckan-Tallis), a proud Juru Woman, survivor, and cultural leader with deep connections to Kabi Kabi Country, Cape York, and Torres Strait communities. We are survivors of sexual violence and abuse. Women with lived experience, cultural authority, and a vision for healing and empowerment. We exist to stop the silence and rebuild lives through culture and community.
Please note: Mi'djam Woman is not a crisis centre or counselling service. We heal through Women's Business, cultural connection, art, and community yarning. When women and families need additional support, we guide them to trusted professional services and resources that can walk alongside them on their journey.
