6-Week Cultural Art Programme
A trauma-aware, culturally grounded programme where students create their own dot art story on a wooden piece, guided by a Traditional Custodian facilitator. Suitable for primary schools (Years 4 to 6) and adaptable for other year levels.

What Students Experience
Cultural Grounding
Students are introduced to cultural symbols, their meanings, and how art connects to identity, Country, and community through Acknowledgement of Country and guided learning.
Guided Dot Art Creation
Over the six weeks, students develop their own visual story using dot art techniques, healing symbols, and personal meaning, building towards a finished wooden art piece they take home.
Wellbeing & Reflection
Each session integrates trauma-aware wellbeing activities, grounding exercises, and guided reflection, helping students connect emotionally with their artwork and cultural learning.
Storytelling & Identity
Students explore how symbols create visual stories and choose elements that represent their personal journey, building cultural understanding and creative confidence.
Showcase & Celebration
The programme concludes with a class exhibition, presentations, and certificates of completion, celebrating each student's creative and cultural journey.
Evaluation & Reporting
Full evaluation and reporting included so your school has documented outcomes and evidence of cultural learning for compliance and curriculum records.
